High-Protein Frozen Yogurt Bites

The perfect healthy summer treat

Ice cream and summer simply belong together. But many ice creams are packed with added sugars and don’t keep you full for very long. We have a simple alternative: high-protein frozen yogurt bites.

They’re refreshing, easy to make and perfect as a snack after training or on a warm summer day. This is cooling down without compromising your goals.

Why we love them

We believe in simple nutrition that works in real life. The protein helps support muscle recovery and keeps you feeling satisfied for longer, while the Greek yogurt gives them a delicious creamy texture.

This recipe is:

  • High in protein
  • Quick to prepare
  • Naturally sweetened
  • Refreshing on warm days
  • Great for meal prep

Ingredients

Here's what makes 4 servings (or approximately 8–12 bites)

  • 250 g Greek yogurt (0% or 5%)
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 100 g mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)
  • Optional topping: chopped pistachios, almonds or dark chocolate shavings

Instructions

  1. Mix the Greek yogurt with the protein powder until smooth.
  2. Stir in the honey if you’d like a little extra sweetness.
  3. Spoon the mixture onto a baking tray or plate lined with baking paper.
  4. Scatter the berries over the yogurt and finish with any toppings you like.
  5. Freeze for 2–3 hours.
  6. Break into bite-sized pieces and enjoy straight from the freezer.

Extra protein option:

Want even more protein? Add a little cottage cheese to the yogurt mixture before freezing. It makes the bites even creamier and increases the protein content.

Small swaps like these make healthy choices easier, and a lot more enjoyable.

Meal prep tip:

Prep multiple portions at once and store them in the freezer. One less decision when you want to snack during another heatwave.
