For Estelle, getting stronger is only one part of being fit. How you move, how your body feels and how connected you feel to it matter just as much.
After completing her Master’s in Adapted Physical Activity, Estelle wanted to broaden her experience beyond working with people with specific health conditions. Having strength trained herself for over 15 years, personal training became a natural way to combine her knowledge of movement and health with something else she values: working closely with people one-on-one.
Her coaching brings together strength training, Pilates, mobility and rehabilitation, complemented by her experience in yoga and therapeutic massage. Rather than chasing quick physical results, Estelle looks at the person as a whole. She wants clients to build strength, move better, improve their posture and develop more confidence in what their body can do.
That last part is particularly important to her. One of her proudest moments as a trainer came from working with a client after a traumatic bike accident. The client had lost confidence in her body and was afraid to move. Six months later, she was moving pain-free, feeling stronger and completed her first pull-up – something she hadn’t thought possible.
Estelle believes the same patience matters for everyone. Starting too hard or chasing results too quickly can make training difficult to sustain. Instead, she focuses on listening to your body, setting achievable goals and making movement a natural part of everyday life.
Her philosophy? Build a body you trust, not just one you train.
