Joep’s journey into personal training didn’t start from a textbook, but from personal experience. After quitting football due to a groin injury, he found himself training with a PT to rebuild his fitness and something clicked. He realized he didn’t want to leave the world of sports behind. So he dove into the Sport & Exercise program, completing Fitvak A and B, and never looked back.
What makes Joep unique? He might be young, but he brings a surprising amount of experience. Learning hands-on from physiotherapists, trainers, and through his ongoing education at Milo Personal Training. His approach is practical, human, and deeply personal.
For Joep, personal training isn’t just about the reps. It’s about mindset, habits, and lifestyle. He’s the kind of coach who’ll notice if you’re off your game and invite you for a coffee to talk it through. Motivation low? He’ll help you find the real reason. Whether it’s work stress, poor sleep, or just a rough week and build from there.
He’s honest about the fitness industry too. Social media pumps out unrealistic images and quick-fix promises. Joep prefers real change, built on solid basics: consistent movement, better sleep, manageable stress, and sustainable nutrition. No supplements until you’ve nailed the fundamentals.
What keeps him going? The moments that matter. Like helping someone recover from injury and move pain-free again. Or hearing that clients feel stronger, more confident, and are finally receiving compliments from friends and family. That’s what makes it all worth it.
Joep’s philosophy is simple: Train hard, train smart and do it all with a smile.
