At B-One, we believe that how you move outside the gym is just as important as what you do inside. And that includes the way you fuel your body.
That doesn’t mean every meal has to be perfect. But eating in a way that supports your energy, recovery, and joy? That matters.
We asked our coach Sebastian to share a few of his favorite vegan-friendly spots in Amsterdam. Not necessarily the trendiest, fanciest, or cleanest. But the places he genuinely enjoys when he wants a good, satisfying meal.
Whether you’re a committed vegan or just curious to try more plant-based food, these picks are a great place to start.
📍 Location: Czaar Peterstraat 2a, Amsterdam
A lot of fresh veggies and good soups. And sometimes, a slice of cake, because balance matters too.
Sebastian says: “Delicious food in an amazing place. Great if you like vegetarian and vegan food and don’t want to choose. Fill your plate with your favorites and weigh it at the cash register. Choose one of the cozy corners to enjoy your meal. Simple and quick.”
📍Location: Albert Cuypstraat 182H, Amsterdam
Not the cleanest option, but one of the best. Great vegan döner and the kind of baklava you’ll remember.
Sebastian says: “I rarely like vegan places like this because they often try to imitate meat and fail. But the food here is simply delicious—focused on good ingredients, rich flavors, and lots of vegetables. The stuffed peppers are amazing, as are the various salads. And the prices are more than reasonable.”
📍 Location: Westerstraat 186, Amsterdam
Plant-based Mexican. They really got the flavors right. It’s fresh, colorful, and satisfying.
Sebastian says: “We didn’t realize it was a vegan spot when we booked. But it turned out to be a really pleasant surprise. The food was creative and full of flavor. Loved the artichoke tacos and the guacamole was amazing! Dessert was also a highlight. It was a unique experience—definitely different for my taste but absolutely worth trying!”
📍 Location: Schollenbrugstraat 8, Amsterdam
Simple vegan Asian street food. Fast, easy, and full of flavor.
Sebastian says: “We were warmly welcomed and assisted. The food tasted great. It was also nice that the music wasn’t too loud and that they played enjoyable tracks from the 60s, 70s and 80s.”
Fueling your body doesn’t have to be complicated or perfect. But the right meals, enjoyed in the right setting, can help you feel more connected, energized, and balanced.
